Nader Gabriel
Prior to becoming a solicitor, Nader worked in finance and accounting. He later commenced his Juris Doctor and upon graduating, worked as an accredited mediator for Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria, mediating complex domestic building work disputes between builders and home owners.
Upon admission, Nader worked as a solicitor for Consumer Affairs Victoria, where he worked in all aspects of investigation, enforcement and regulation. He also briefly worked for Victoria Police where he assisted with a Royal Commission.
Nader relocated to South Australia, where he worked for the SA Housing Authority. He eventually returned to investigation, enforcement and regulation, working for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
Nader joined the South Australian Bar in 2022, mainly working in criminal and administrative law. He regularly appears as defence counsel in the Magistrates and District Courts, in jury and judge-alone trials. He also appears in the Federal Court, SACAT and SAET.
He joined the Victorian Bar as an interstate member in 2024 and welcomes briefs to advise and appear in all matters in Melbourne and surrounding regions.
